MANAGEMENT COMMITMENT

To the greatest degree possible, management will provide all mechanical and physical facilities required for personal safety and health in keeping with the highest standards. It is our commitment to allocate reasonable resources to implement and perpetuate the occupational health and safety system.

TRAINING & COMPETENCE

We believe that training and creating awareness amongst our employees are one of the most important aspects in the prevention of occupational injuries or accidents that is why we train old and new employees on an ongoing basis to ensure all our employees are competent to perform their respective tasks.

ATTITUDE

To be successful, such a program must embody the proper attitudes toward injury and illness prevention not only on the part of supervisors and employees, but also between each employee and his or her co-workers. Only through such a cooperative effort can a safety program in the best interest of all be established and preserved.

HAZARD IDENTIFICATION

Implementing a risk assessment process that will effect appropriate risk management and assessment through identification, elimination, reduction or control. Continues training and communication of identified hazards and the related risks with all relevant employees and people.

GOAL

Our goal is a health and safety management system that will reduce the number of injuries and illnesses to an absolute minimum, not merely in keeping with, but surpassing, the best experience of operations similar to ours.

COMPLIANCE

It is the intent of Multifab to fully comply with all legal and client requirements. To achieve total compliance in our operations we will monitor, review and evaluate the health and safety management system by auditing on an ongoing basis.

  • Restoring and Rehabilitation of detrimental impact on the environment that were caused during the development intervention process
  • Promotion of conservation of all natural recourses on and surrounding construction sites
  • Practicing of environmentally friendly and sustainable construction practices and techniques whilst ensuring long term project sustainability and cost-effective construction methods
  • Active and aggressive waste and pollution minimization during and upon completion of the construction process
  • Ensuring the social environmental health knowledgebase of employees and affected communities
  • Adherence to all applicable and relevant legislation such as but not limited to the:
    – Environment Conservation Act 73 of 1998
    – National Environmental Management Act 107 of 1998
    – National Water Act 36 of 1998
    – National Heritage Resources Act 25 of 1999
